I find most of my material in park and chaffee county. I don't collect agates, jaspers, quartz, flint, chert and silified wood (people call it petrified wood but that is a misnomer) I use it as material for making Neolithic projectile points, spearpoints, axes, and knives out of the rocks I find. Since I can't go out all thetimei thought I'd ask you guys for some help with procuring these types of rocks. I'm not saying specifically go out and find them but if you happen to find some while looking for your target rock, put it aside and I'll pay you for it! Depending on what it is I'm willing to pay 1.50 a lb. I'm also willing to make you a Neolithic artifact to trade or I have a rock collection I'm willing to trade too!

I have a good nugget I'll trade too. I hope I hear from you guys!

I'm attaching pictures of some recent arrowheads I've made.

I have a collection of local pet wood I've found around here if you said youd trade a nugget? Haha
I wouldn't usually trade my collection because I work hard to find it but if you're ever out this way come see if there's anything you can use and bring that nugget! I have pieces ranging from cantelope size and smaller and we are still pulling chunks out of there, and also other cherts and jaspers. We've found a few arrowheads and a spearhead so I know the material the utes used was local stuff. That's quite a cool skill to have!
