Here you'll find directions to build an inexpensive, compact, and light weight hand trommel. It is designed to classify quantity material for your dry-washer, high-banker, sluice, pan, and can also be used in garden composting and worm harvesting. The cost of construction is around $50.

Looks great ! Is it long enough to straddle a mixing tub? If so that would be a handy catch bin that you may already have with you.

I actually upgraded it to accommodate Home Depot buckets and it is much faster and ergonomically pleasing to the back. Check out the website and the links I posted. I have folks all over the world building these little guys now. What fun!

planning on heading to AZ to do some prospecting; might be a good way to classify dry stuff!

Watching videos again in preparation to make one. Will be using it to classify to 1/8 out in the desert to run my gold wheel.

Here's someone that took this idea and set up a desert wash plant. Brilliant! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHQfhd9MVNI
