I received a call from Geno this morning. He says that some of the services are coming back on line. It typically takes an hour or so to go through the line to get gas. Some of the banks are open on generators. He saw a mail truck yesterday and UPS and FEDEX are running. He was really hesitant to mention it but his most immediate need is money. If you can send a check, he can cash it. There is power on both sides of him about 10 miles away. The estimate for power at his place is about a week. They may beat that but that is what they are being told. He has a generator for power but that takes gas and gas costs money.
He wanted to thank everyone for what they are doing. The packages sent haven't arrived yet but I told him that things were on the way. He is cooking outside on his campstove because the kitchen gets to about 110 degrees when cooking.
