So I have done some advanced calculations and have tracked where in Colorado, to within 7 feet, that meteors will land TONIGHT! Bring a net and see if you can snag one out of the air! Just kidding.....

Tonight is the peak of the orionids. The constellation Orion will not rise until around midnight, so peak viewing will be from around midnight tonight until 4 a.m. tomorrow morning. Estimated at 20-30 per hour, this year is expected on the lower end of the spectrum. You never know though, some years have experienced upwards of 100/hour. Maybe consider getting up early to watch the show and the getting out to dig by sun up!

It was cloudy the other day but the sky was wide open last night. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
Saw a nice bright Geminid meteor shooting through the sky and it burned right into my brain.
