Goldbuddy vs Goldbuddy II What are +s & -s for each? Keene has a similar self-contained unit. Anyone know the best unit for cleaning cons. & mini-hibanking, sampling, etc? Thanks for input on this. Arvada

Arvada, check out Keith Cokers "Hide-A-Banker".. a self contained mini-sluice in a box... He's posted a few picks someplace. I picked one up from him las weekend when I went to SC. It works great. you could easily put shoulder straps on it or handles. If I can find the pics I'll post them. Otherwise I'll get pics this weekend of mine with my cleanup from the trip...

Show us the gold, Geno!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing Keith's Hide-A-Banker, too.
Very catchy name there. BTW...did you polish up the gold prospector hood ornament and make all the others dowdy pickups on the highway do the ole "double take?" Glad to hear you got away for a few days of R&R, AND brought home the gold. GOOOOOOO Geno! |

Russ, yep I'm smilin bigtime... but you ain't seen the half of it yet! My plan was to finish the cleanup on Tuesday (my day off) but had a bad cold and spent most of the day in bed... this weekend maybe? I really want to see and show it all!
Keith Thanks for the helping hand here. I really enjoyed my stay with you and Joe... can't wait to do it again. geno |

From some research & demos, here are the best self-contained, recirculating mini hibankers: all 4 models of Micro-Sluice.
However, since I now need one soon & the new owner/manufacturer of Micro-sluice is behind on production, I will purchase the Goldbuddy 2, which is #5 best There are some interesting prototypes out there, and everything else is pretty much monkey see monkey do. So, that's the end of that long discussion. |
