We met up with Duck on the creek here in Fairplay yesterday. Was great to meet him.
It was a beautiful day and we all had a blast. Hes a great guy! He also brought the dredge he made. Sweet little unit it is....... B) See you on the creek soon.

Thanks, it is great for sampling and for getting gold out of small streams. It's a bit out of it's element in the river where the pic was taken. After you dig a hole that's closer to your armpit than your elbow it stuggles to move some of the larger cobbles unless you can set up where you can use gravity to your advantage.
When I built it, weight was one of the primary design considerations. It's right around 40Lbs and will pack up on it's frame nice and neat. It's not very ergonomic on your back but it will all go in with one trip and leave your hands to carry gas, food and a tent. -------------------- Diesel Digging
