Looking forward to prospecting for gold, these questions may be very basic but any help would be appreciated. It is my understanding that most of the gold in Central Colorado is flour gold, fairly plentiful but small. My question is how small? Reading about gold recovery the talk is of "xx" size micron gold or gold screened through 200 mesh, etc. So how fine is the gold in general. What do you use to separate it from black sand? Gold Cube? What type of matting, miners moss, etc? Any direction would be appreciated.
Thanks Easygoer |

It comes down to personal preference and what you have available. There are options galore.
