Rats, hope that you get to feeling better EMac.
I'm set on finding a good spot for winter that has decent sun exposure. Here is where I'd like to test tomorrow. Caveman and Andrew did well here with their trommel several years ago. Any thoughts?

Looks like a fish structure just up stream; is it far enough away to work the upper end of the bar? Can't make tomorrow but I can swing Sunday if anyone wants to meet up

I'm not sure about the fishing structure distance but we need to respect that. I have a measuring wheel in the Jeep if needed.

I was there not long ago, but didn't do any digging. Expect to have a lot of folks around, but there are spots on the backside of the island where you can get away. Some shots from the ground.
