I searched for something along these lines, but didn't find anything with my queries. Does anyone have a spreadsheet template already for evaluation/analysis of mineral deposits that you'd be willing to share? I'm primarily thinking gold, but would be interested in other templates as I suspect the appropriate data elements may be different. Ideally in similar formats to promote ease of use. Something in Excel is what I'm thinking, perhaps with different tabs for different values/areas.
It's not hard to build one of these, so really I'm interested in which key process inputs (KPIs) folks here track. The outputs seem a little more obvious, but I'm curious if folks stratify their data that way too (such as size, amount, fineness, etc.)? I slapped together something quick to show what I'm thinking, but I'm not able to upload an .xlsx file. Here's a screenshot instead: Thanks, Eric -------------------- Lifetime Member

By the way love the adamantium tab on the spreadsheet. ![]() -------------------- --Chris

Nice engineering plug.
![]() Per wikipedia: Since the late 1950s, aerospace engineers have used the term "unobtainium" when referring to unusual or costly materials, or when theoretically considering a material perfect for their needs in all respects, except that it does not exist. |

If there isn't an Excel template already in existence, I can put it together very fast. Feedback on data elements is still very helpful!
I'm very good in Excel, and only dangerous in Access; I prefer Excel, but see how this could more easily be structured in a database. I can decipher SQL query statements, but it would a lot of learning that I'm not interested in to build a SQL database from scratch. -------------------- Lifetime Member

Seems like what you already have is a good start. But I'm sure it could be expanded.

I'm sorry, I have been pretty busy. Happy New Year everyone!
Unfortunately I think that file is on my work computer, so I'll have to pull it out to send it. I'm not sure I want to worry about work for another day or 2 though, but I'll send the file (assuming it's still around) when I fire up the laptop. Cheers, E -------------------- Lifetime Member

Happy New Year everyone!
Geo - I just emailed you the file; feel free to share if you'd like. If you don't get it, please let me know; likely a typo. I also tried posting a comma delimited file, but no dice. If anyone else wants it, lemme know. Cheers! E -------------------- Lifetime Member
