Went out a couple of days last week to some of my favorite spots. Water was so high and rising on 2 different rivers made it hard to set up a sluice. Some of the bars that I dig from were totally submerged under water. Didn't get as much gold as usual because of this. Had to resort to panning at one spot because there was no where to set up a sluice. Other area, water rose pretty fast and messed up the flow. Got frustraited and resorted to panning again. Still was able to run about 9 buckets through before that happened though. We got more snow in the mountains so I guess the water will keep rising for a few weeks? At least it should redistribute some stream bed material happy088.gif
