Hi, every one.

WARNING:
I ordered 2 Keene stainless steel screen classifiers from this Doug Springfield on 24 Nov 2007. with a money order for $55.14. Now it's Jan,10,2008 and I have not received them. I suppose we got took by this guy as I have sent him a E-mail and my Wife has called him, you cant get any answer at all. It is a hell of a way of doing business . I have Turned it over to the BBB. I am a life member of the Gpaa and this will be posted on their site to.

Sorry you got bit Capt Mike! You are handling it the right way.

Does this "gentleman" have a website, or is he an ebay seller? Any info you can share along those lines might help others avoid a similar fate.

i meet Doug and his family 2 years ago up on Douglas creek. he seemed like a ok guy. i wonder what is happening with these dealers that end up in this position? i know of one guy that got burnt from his suppliers. he had the equipment orders and $$$ from the customers and had a good product. the parts suppliers didnt send the product or it took just to long to get the parts needed to satisfy the customer. then all heck broke out. this semms tobe a on going problem. what a shame. that alone would keep me from a retirement job making mining equipment! and ive got several peices of equipment that i want to build.but the cost of manufactoring equipment and the cost of the materials/shipping and me makeing ANY money at it dont add up to a good deal for me! the market is saturated with many of the same types of equipment anyway!
