these little spring shrooms are the best eating you ever had, they pop up around late may and only show for a few weeks depending on the weather, the wetter the better, i used to pick them as a kid in michigan, and have found them in wyoming as well, its a big part of our spring, outdoor events.

they dont taste anything like the ones you get from the store, hard to explain the morels flavor, but since im not bringing any, i dont have too
 its just something you need to try and taste for yourself, they are indeed delish you can get dehydrated ones from stores, but they dont do the morel any justice, fresh is the best.....maybe next year i will bring ya up some
