Hello Treasure Hunters,
Over the past three years, my wife and I have enjoyed the opportunity to hunt for the famous Forrest Fenn Treasure. The clues found in his book have now brought us to a very special place. We’d like to share a search technique that might be useful to other treasure hunters. We discovered a large stone circle, possibly of prehistoric religious or ceremonial significance, in the general area we’ve been searching. As far as we know, the structure has never been publicly recorded or otherwise previously investigated. Apparently, similar structures having 8 spokes are rare occurrences in North America. The site is pristine and the geometry of the well placed stones appears to be undisturbed. In an effort to better understand our discovery and use that information in our quest for treasure, we’ve determined the headings for each of the 8 spokes. Searching is now focused along these headings with a hope that one of the spokes is aligned towards the treasure. It is very exciting to make such a discovery and we now know what is meant by “The Thrill of the Chase”. More information on the treasure hunt can be found by visiting Fenn’s website here; Old Santa Fe Trading Company A current source covering research into stone circles is a lecture by Paul Burley, The Sacred Sphere – From Stone Circles to Higgs Boson: Implications of Sacred Spherical Geometry. Hi Treasure Searchers,
Please let us introduce ourselves to newcomers of the Colorado Prospector forum and inform everybody of our discovery of the Forrest Fenn Treasure “NOOK” on June 18th, 2021. We are presently unknown to the Fenn Treasure Community, only being recognized as the “Wolverines” from Forrest Gets Mail #23. Forrest sought our permission to publish one of the emails we had sent to him. Attached is a copy of that correspondence just as it was posted in the thread MOST IMPORTANT INFO on Dal Neitzel’s website. That may help you better understand who we are and what we have accomplished. Like untold numbers of other searchers, we have sent many emails to Forrest over the years and he has responded back to us a few times. It was our effort to keep him apprised of BOTG discoveries and our progress towards the correct poem solution. As the first snowfall of 2019 arrived, we had finally determined exactly where the treasure was hidden. The snow continued on and on, essentially preventing the recovery of the chest. We waited all winter for the snow drifted roads leading to our search area to clear and COVID-19 restrictions imposed by Wyoming officials to be lifted so we could retrieve the chest from our search site. Interestingly, we sent Forrest an email at 8:04 pm June 5, 2020 advising that the travel quarantines were being relaxed somewhat and allowed us to plan going BOTG June 7, 2020. Just a day later, on June 6th, we canceled our trip after learning the search was being called off by Forrest with a claim the chest had been found. We recently traveled to our solution location and found the “NOOK” along with other evidence supporting our opinion that the treasure was recovered from the site about a year ago. After plotting the GPS coordinates against a legal survey map, we realized that the treasure was hidden within the boundaries of a National Historic Landmark. It is our opinion that the treasure chest belongs to the US Government! Forrest wanted the treasure to be displayed in the Smithsonian Institution and we believe our evidence will support that endeavor. If you are further interested in this matter, please follow our thread in the CP Club Member’s Protected forum in Forrest Fenn Treasure Location, “NOOK” and Supporting Evidence. Sincerely, Johnny and Donna Tonko Pueblo, Colorado -------------------- Annual Dues Paying Member Since 2008
