Where to start diamond hunting in Colorado, diamond hunting

Greetings this fine Monday morning,

My 5 y.o. son has his heart set on diamond hunting - would you all have suggestions on where to start? I would like to check out the kimberlite formations north of Fort Collins; however, I have no idea where we might be able to go. Suggestions?

Thanks for helping me not disappoint my kid :)
