Prospector Dream now has a sluice that is made for their mat. I got one and used it for the first time yesterday. Gotta say, I am a convert!!
First thing I did was give it the Swizz treatment and bed lined the slick plate and added a strip of shallow v mat (gave me a nice preview of a couple decent flecks). Wanted to get some video, but with all the snow melt, the water was pretty cloudy. Will give it a go next time. When I had the Dream Mat in my Keene with no slick plate, I got a fair amount of gold in my Angus I ran behind it to test what it was loosing. With the Dream Mat sluice there was only 5 fine specks in the Angus. Off to process my cons now, but a quick pan in the field appeared to reveal a lot of color!
