Dear Dear Dave Kelsea, one of our most vocal MRT warriors:
My effort to be logical and reasoned obviously missed the mark. I've withdrawn it, plain and simple. All the best. This post has been edited by gold_tutor: Aug 16 2004, 09:59 PM |

The new servers that hold the MRT domain have 400 email accounts for use and a buttload of Bandwidth usage to smoke up every month.
I'm not sure yet how to implement them...but here's a " jist " of an idea: Divide the country into Regions ( The USA ) for contact info. Northwest ( The Wet and Mossy states ) Southwest ( The Golden Boys ) Midwest ( Yellow Brick Road Boys ) Southern Central ( Lost Dutchman Boys ) Northern Central ( Rushmore men ) South East ( Florida Divers ) Mideast ( Them Georgia Boys ) North East ( Upstate Troopers ) Give each club the potential to use a 19.00 Webcam and a MRT email address to converse with other regional clubs for issues at hand. Video Conferencing for Miners Some of the benefits: If you lived in Missouri for example and wanted to come to California to do a little mining...you could: Click Southwest Region Click California Click Club in Area your going Converse with a live club member and/or Video, ask questions, get info, expected conditions, Dealers Nearby...etc....... Other benefits: Talk live to your local neighboring states about issues and problems and share resources. See and meet others from your own state and others that share the Outdoors Hold a Monthly Video conference with clubs from your state and elsewhere. Hold a meeting Live on the Internet for Club members who could not attend your meeting but instead could watch and listen and participate LIVE instead of being there. This whole idea is to UNITE and bring together Mining Clubs from regional areas and get them to interact and keep up on the issues. It would work. It could be done. I could do it. Why can't we all? But what the hell do I know about uniting Miners, I'm just a piss poor bastard who is a radical with dreamy ideas. ( Falls off cloud and slams back to earth ) Back to the Drawing Board |
