I know it doesn't open until memorial day, but when does it close for the 'season'? I have a week off in september and am hoping it's still open so I can go spend several days out there.
Also, I stopped by there only once for a couple hours... is the little creek by the parking area the only water, or is there water further back as well? Thanks |

Arbo, it's open from memorial day to the end of November, at least thats what it says on the BLM web site and on the signs at the parking lot.
The creek next the parking lot is a diversion creek, then there is another creek about a 1/4 mile past that (a branch of Cache Creek) and then the main Cache Creek about 1/2-3/4 mile in further. there are alot of people using that area this time of year, the family & I will be heading up there in the next week or so.
