Someone i know has some rocks from Spears Rock Shop when they had the sale and wants me to ID them here is pics and what i told her they are...some i'm not sure about...i have some of these rocks from the ton of slabs i got awhile back...sometime i will start scanning them and start posting them...there is alot of them and i'm still cleaning them up. smiley-shocked003.gif

The first and last pic seem to be from the same host rock maybe agate of some kind with quartz stinger http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agate (at first i thought it was maybe agateized pet. wood like from AZ http://www.arizonaskiesmeteorites.com/Petr...ied_Wood_Slabs/ but even that stuff is Agateized) (expect the quartz one at the bottom left corner in the last pic). The center two pics is most definally shells and Abalone (i call Abaloney Shell) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abalone and a arrow head in the middle there tongue.gif P.S. after seeing this site of all kinds of Jasper slabs i'm now thinking that the ones in the 1st and last pic is also Jasper....i see jasper everywhere in this post....lol http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q=J...276&bih=634

I just cleaned some of this from my collection...i'm thinking this is Picture Jasper http://www.mindat.org/gallery.php?min=2082 but i could be wrong....it does look like a pic tho huh wink.gif
Pic 2
You should know this one...geode (Agate)...a dyed blue one with only a small nug (pocket of crystals)
Pic 3
Bottom is quartz crystals of course...Top rock...not sure...get back with ya on that one. P.S. after seeing them spots and looking at the jasper slabs from above....this could be jasper too....seems like they might of had alot of different kinds of jasper?? idk lol
Pic 4
I have some of this too...have to do some more research on this one...sometime i want to start scanning all the slabs i have and post them on colorado prospector so they can help me ID them...so some of these may not be until that happens. P.S. Jasper??
Pic 5
Well when i first saw this one i thougt Amethyst but that's what i always think when i see purple but Florite can be purple but as i was looking in my book i saw some purple Halite http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halite so i think it could be that....but then again it could very well be Amethyst...lol

Quartz Crystals Cluster of course
Pic 2
Granite with quartz pockets?? P.S. you know i kinda think this is what Pic 4 (from above) looks like as whole host rock and it almost looks like Jasper to me??...idk
Pic 3
This almost looks like a cluster from the great salt plains http://www.flickr.com/photos/23656923@N00/3577336188 (i have been there and step dad found a cluster like that one but i haven't yet...lol) but it could also be Glauberite http://www.google.com/images?q=Glauberite&...259&bih=634
Pic 4
Colonial corals Fossils http://www.igsb.uiowa.edu/Browse/fossils/fossils.htm also known as Petoskey Stone http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&biw...amp;oq=Petoskey but this one is in the raw form..no traveling (connected to the bottom of sea...so may not be as much of a fossil..lol
