Been working a AMRA claim in CA and have had good results in the tailing channel. We decided to search for the old creek bed and I believe we found it, but it is 7 feet deep...

The FS officer had issues with where my truck was parked... He informed me to not drive in the tall dry grass areas and just snooped around our camp. We were parked and camping on a dirt road with very little vegetation. This is one of the FS officers that pulled a Taser on 2 other AMRA members sluicing in a creek a few months ago... Rumor has it that AMRA is going to sue the (female officer which was the Sargent and the officer that actually pulled her Taser) in civil court for this and other unlawful actions. The male officer we encountered was on his best behavior for some reason...

I've been reading ICMJ, casually following the fights in CA and ID over dredging, and was looking up AMRA just yesterday after reading their article. Your situation sounds remarkably similar, and I think we'd all love to hear how this plays out for you.

The recirc videos are pretty cool, and I was talking with Swizz this weekend about possibly using your techniques on the ghost creek portion of his claim since it's further away from the pond.

Thanks for sharing!
