THERE'S GOLD UP IN THEM THAR' HILLS!

There are alot of attractions around the Idaho Springs area. We have put together a list of a few we thought you might enjoy. If you have any questions regarding the rally or the area, please feel free to e-mail us at prospector@coloradoprospector.com

The Phoenix Gold Mine

You can also tour the Phoenix Gold Mine just a few miles from the Argo in Idaho Springs. Al is a great guy, and he has told us that "during the days of the rally", that people attending the rally may use his part of the creek below the Phoexix Gold Mine. Click here for a map of the Phoenix. You can learn more about the Phoenix Gold Mine at www.phoenixgoldmine.com

There's also the Georgetown Loop Historic Mining Park & Railroad Park. It's just about 15 to 20 minutes up I-70 from Idaho Springs. This is a great adventure for the whole family, and a great way to view the beauty of Colorado's mountains. This could be the last year to take this historic tour, so don't miss out!! You can also add a tour in the Lebanon Silver Mine to your train ride. You can learn more about The Georgetown Loop Railroad at www.georgetownloop.com or by calling (303)-569-2403 / 1-800-691-4FUN.

You can also spend the day at Vic's Gold Panning in Blackhawk. This is a historical pay to pan site, and it's about a mile down the road from the casinos. Click here for more information on times and prices.
